FICCI is Going to Launch Anti-piracy Coordination Cell






In order to curb this menace and to strengthen its efforts against piracy Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is Launching an “Anti Piracy Coordination Cell” with the approval of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) on 15th October, 2010 at FICCI, Federation House, New Delhi.

The “Anti-piracy Coordination Cell” will function as a centralized agency to coordinate the efforts taken by the Government and the industry to curb piracy and will also serve as a platform that represent to the world the impact of anti-piracy operations in India. It will assist in further strengthening the fight against piracy and in fulfilling India’s commitment to ensure ‘zero tolerance’ to piracy.
The “Cell” will be inaugurated by launching a web portal by Shri Amit Khare, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Government of India.

The Conference will be attended by government officials, lawyers, industry representatives, academicians, etc.
