Conference on “ Law Teaching and Research: Contemporary Challenges”

KIIT Law School, Bhubaneshwar and the All India Law Teachers Congress (AILTC), New Delhi are jointly organizing a two day Conference on Law Teaching and Research: Developments  at Bhubaneshwar  on 18-19 December 2010. 


 Themes for the said conference: 

(i)Teaching Law Subjects: Varied Methods and Approaches (ii) Trends of Legal Research Methods (iii) Recent Reforms in Legal Education introduced by the Bar Council of India (iv)Problems and Challenges before the Law Teachers.  

The above mentioned themes are selected in view of their immense importance and greater implications in today’s context. It is strongly believed that the members of academia can dispassionately analyze the broad contours of the above subject matter in the two days conference and can formulate immaculate opinions and recommendations.


We have great pleasure in inviting you to join and participate in the said conference. Indeed your participation will go a long way in the successful completion of our enterprise, as you have done in the past conferences also. We definitely trust and hope that you will participate in the conference and contribute a paper also on any one of the above subject themes. Please feel free to write on any subject of your choice. You are requested to intimate us the title of your paper and also send an abstract of not more than two pages of your presentation in the above-mentioned e-mail id. We are eagerly looking forward to your benign presence despite your busy schedule.

     Please send your confirmation of participation by 30th November 2010, along with your travel plan. You are requested to stick to the deadline to avoid last minute rush of your boarding and lodging, which we are arranging for you. Please also note that we will not be in a position to pay you any T.A/D.A; you may arrange it through your colleges/universities.

     A registration fee of Rs.500/- (five hundred rupees only) is fixed for delegates which includes fooding and lodging during the Congress.   Payment can be made by demand draft in favour of “KIIT”, payable at Bhubaneshwar, Orissa.
